Summer 2021 - Accessing Library Resources

Check the Current Nimitz Library Resources & Services page for the most up-to-date information on our operating hours and services.

To access library resources and the library catalogue from off the yard you'll need to connect via VPN. Consult our Off Campus Access Guide for a step-by-step walkthrough on getting connected.

Faculty, staff and students can use the library's Book Pickup Request Form to request items for lobby retrieval.

Library staff can provide scanned articles or book chapters from items we own to midshipmen and instructors through Local Article Delivery. If off campus you must be connected via VPN/VDI to submit your request.

How can I get help with my writing?

The Writing Center provides one-on-one consultations for all writing projects during any stage of the writing process. Their goal is to provide a professional and supportive environment where midshipmen, faculty, and staff can receive guidance from experienced writers.

For more information please see The Writing Center's Facebook page, or go to their intranet site.
