Spring 2024 II

New Research Librarians

We are excited to introduce two new subject specialist librarians to the Nimitz team! Sarah Lopez, STEM Librarian, joined us in December. If you’re majoring in cyber science, computer science, electrical & computer engineering, or math - you’ll want to get to know Sarah! This week, we welcomed Social Science Librarian Angeline Prichard. She will work with faculty and midshipmen in political science, economics, and languages & cultures. Both Sarah and Angeline have a great deal of experience and expertise, and we are fortunate to have them here at USNA.

Commandant’s Reading List

You asked and Nimitz Library responded. Thanks to the suggestion by MIDN 1/C Christian Bryant, books from the Commandant's Reading List are now on display and available for checkout by the coffee bar. As we purchase additional copies and get more returned to us, they will be added to the collection for your perusal.

Faculty Research Talks Continue

The semester may be half over, but there are several faculty research talks in the library still to come. Faculty from Physics, Oceanography, and NAOE will be presenting their current research during our lunchtime talks in the Nautilus Room, 1245-1320. Find the full schedule with dates and topics on our News & Events page
