Fall 2024 II

Sunday night chat research support

Working on research over the weekend? Nimitz librarians are available via chat from 1800-2200 on Sunday evenings! For help at any point along the research path - from nailing down a topic to evaluating sources - look for the orange Need help? bar on the right side of the library homepage.

Study spaces in Nimitz

No matter how you like to study, Nimitz Library has a space for you. Need to focus? Check out a white noise machine from the desk on the main floor and take it to an individual study room. Working with a group? Reserve a third floor study room. The main floor is popular, but take a look at the library’s guide to study spaces to see what else is available

Bancroft book return

Don’t get stuck with overdue library materials! You can return your books to the convenient book return in Bancroft (between Steerage and Smoke Hall) or drop them off at the library. If you’re still using the materials, renew them online.

Holiday weekend hours

Because of the upcoming holiday, library hours will close this Friday, 11 October, at 1700 and won’t reopen until 1000 on Monday, 14 October. This same schedule will be repeated on Veteran’s Day weekend in November. If you want to plan even further ahead, hours and closures for Thanksgiving, exams, and the intersession period are available on our detailed hours page.
