Generation of a Prospectus (Proposal)

The structure of the course involves five elements. We will be focusing today on exploring a potential research topic with a eye on the second element (generating a prospectus). The prospectus contains the following items:

  1. A statement providing details of the research issue to be investigated
  2. A short section on selected items from a literature review perspective (if relevant)
  3.  The methodology that will be followed in analyzing the topic
  4. Data that will be utilized for the research effort
  5.  A short statement indicating expected milestones and associated dates

The prospectus is due during Week 5.
