Education is a broad discipline that can be approached in many ways.  One aspect is "pedagogy," or how to teach.  Disciplines, such as Physics, History, Mathematics, Music, etc., all have teaching methods that may be unique to an individual discipline.  Education as a broad topic can also have subtopics such the education of specific groups or grade levels.  Education is also the topic of policy study and debate at the local, state, and national levels.
